Commercial sex worker allegedly bites off colleague’s lip during fight over client (Photo)
The incident happened in the said hotel located along the railway in Ijora area of the state where they were plying their trade.
Thirty year-old Ani allegedly engaged her colleague, Robert Doris in a fight after she accused her of snatching her customer, P.M News gathered.
When Ani confronted Doris, she insisted that Doris should have called her to inform her that her client was around rather than ‘staying’ with him.
Doris in her response, told her colleague that there was no permanent client in their sex business.
That led to exchange of words and fighting ensued between the duo which saw Ani biting off Doris’ lip.
In the process, Doris’ lip allegedly fell off and she was taken to a hospital.
Doctors at the hospital reportedly said the damaged lip could not be stitched back.
The matter was, however, reported to the police at Ijora Badia and Ani was arrested and charged to court with assault under the Criminal Code.
She was arraigned and pleaded not guilty.
In his ruling, the presiding Magistrate, Mr M. A. Etti, granted Ani bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
Etti adjourned the case till March 10, ordering that Ani be remanded in prison custody pending when she would perfect her bail condition.
